What: MLK Day of Service at the Healthy Hearts Garden at Dover St Park
When: Sunday, Jan 20th 12-4pm
Where: Dover St Park. 57th and Dover, North Oakland 94608
Why: Meet your neighbors and help install the last section of one of Oakland's Edible Parks.  Mlk speeches will be played during this workPARTY.  Bring a dish to share for this community potluck

What: MLK Day of Service "Green the Block!"
When: Monday, Jan 21st 12-3pm
Where: 942 Stanford Ave. @lowell St in North Oakland (CrossRoads Collective)
Why: Meet your neighbors and help install planter boxes and benches on the corner of Stanford and Lowell in North Oakland. Come taste free treats from the new CrossRoads Collective Cafe as well.
