Food Justice teach-in November 2nd (Community Voices)

@Occupy the Food System! A teach-in on how to take back control of our food, land and resources. Bay Area activists will share information about understanding the corporate food system, and how to build community-based alternatives. The Teach-In will include a permaculture demonstration and share healthy, locally-produced food.

Participating organizations include: Food First, California Food and Justice Coalition, People's Grocery, Baylocalize, Planting Justice, Phat Beets Produce, City Slicker Farms, Ella Baker Center, Friends of the MST, People's Community Market, Biosafty Alliance, Pesticide Action Network, Chef Jenny Huston and more... Musical performance by Jennifer Johns.
