Update:  SFGate reported this morning that the bikes were found in Oakland storage lockers rented by an SF teen named rving Sanchez. who had two storage lockers full of stolen bikes in Oakland. It's not clear whether the teen stole then, and he has not been charged.

SF Police found and recovered 100 bikes--many missing one wheel--that were stashed away somewhere in Oakland--but most likely belong to SF-side folks--SFPD think the thieves trucked the bikes to the East Bay to hide them away.

SFist is reporting that arrests were made related to ring of bicycle thieves. Meanwhile, San Francisco police have provided a flier with 100 bikes--if you can see yours, go claim it-you can call -police at (415) 404-4044 and need ot come in with proof of ownership or a report of a theft.

There's a flyer of the bikes here at the Mission Police Station site.
