If you've got a strong need to watch an amazing series of dance movies this fall, the Mills College ballet series might be just the thing. And Mondays are pretty quiet anyway, right? 

Held in conjunction with "Dance Rehearsal: Karen Kilimnik’s World of Ballet and Theatre," an art show on view at the Mills College Art Museum through Dec. 9, "Monday Night Tights" offers just about ever ballet movie a gal - or guy - could want.

Have a thing for ballerinas, organza, strength? This is your series.

OCTOBER

Oct. 8: Suspiria (1977) - A candy-colored nightmare from Italian terror maestro Dario Argento, Suspiria weaves a menacing tale of witchcraft as a fairy tale gone horribly awry. Directed by Dario Argento.

Oct. 15: Dracula: Pages from a Virgin's Diary - A silent, screen adaptation of the Royal Winnepeg Ballet's acclaimed dance production incorporating elements of Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula" and F.W.Murnau's film "Nosferatu." Directed by Guy Maddin.

Oct. 22: Kirov Ballet’s production of Sleeping Beauty (1999)

Oct. 29: Karen Kilimnik’s Sleeping Beauty and friends - Dance historian Jenefer Johnson provides a historical context for artist Karen Kilimnik’s video Sleeping Beauty and friends.

Nov. 12: Paris Opera Ballet’s production of Psyché 2011

Oct. 19: The Company (2003) - Based on actress Neve Campbell’s own experiences with The National Ballet of Canada, The Company takes an inside look at the world of ballet. Directed by Robert Altman.

Nov. 26: Black Swan (2010) - A psychological thriller set in the world of New York City ballet Directed by Darren Aronofsky.
